As is customary with software releases, the first phase will go to a handful of current customers. A few days later, the release will be rolled out to the rest of the customer base.

The 2.1 release will include a new option called ShowingVoice, which enables agents to be notified instantly by phone (in addition to normal e-mail and txt notifications) every time a showing request is made. The automated call gives the agent the address of the listing, the name and phone number of the agent requesting the showing, and the date and time. It also enables the agent to press a key and be automatically connected, by phone, to the front desk.

Other features will include:

n       Automatic downloading of a listing photo for each listing

n       Automatic e-mails to agents who have shown a listing when price or status changes occur

n       Ability to take a message within Web Edition – this feature was previously used in the software version of ShowingDesk

n       Activity on Comparables – a report that enables listing agents to proactively contact showing agents who may have potential buyers in a ‘comparable’ price range. The report shows agents who have inquired or scheduled showings on listings that are within 10% of a certain price point.
